Isabela Island is the largest of the archipelago, representing 60% of the total land area of the Galapagos Islands.
It is one of the most famous Galapagos Islands in the world, because for approximately 30 years, a couple of scientists from Princeton University (The Grants) have constantly come to study birds, especially finches.
We offer tours throughout Ecuador, ask for a special tour, we also have tailor-made tours
Just off the east coast of Santa Cruz is located South Plaza Islands, two small islands, though adventurers only visit the south island.
On the outer southern east corner of the archipelago is situated the birds and oldest (about 4,5 million years old) island. Española is probably home of the ancestors of the species that now populate other islands.
North Seymour Island is 1.9 sq. km (1.17 sq. mi) and it is one of the best sites for marine birds in the whole Archipelago. It is situated approximately 7 km (3.89 mi) north of Baltra Island (where the airport is located) and not far from Santa Cruz.
