ITINERARY :

DAY 1: Arrival to the Galápagos Islandas (Transfer in: San Cristobal Airport) – San CristobalInterpretation Center – Tijeretas – Carola Beach – Hotel

At the San Cristobal Airport, our best naturalist tour guide accredited by Galápagos National Park is going to welcome our guests, the tour guide is going to be waiting with the paper signboard at the passenger principle hall meeting. Our adventurers will be assisted whole the journey by our kindly naturalist guide, from the San Cristobal Airport until the coziest hotel. Excursionist will enjoy tastiest lunch cooked with fresh seafood.

Then, travelers will go to the Interpretation Center next to the local naturalist guide where our excursionist will learn deeply about the flora and fauna, ecosystems, included the human settled history in the Galápagos Islands. Our guests will keep their trail to the up of the Cerro Tijeretas or commonly call Frigate Bird Hill by locals, a wonderful view point in order to wonder the most beautiful landscape. So, it is possible to see Magnificent Frigate and Great Frigate Birds in the same colony. Excursionist will be able to distinguish between two kind of frigatebirds. At the end travelers will snorkel and swim with the fur seals, colony of sea lions, marine iguanas, and next to the tropical fishes at the Tijeretas Bay or Carola Beach. The tour could finish on this fantastic beach or the naturalist guide will accompany to the hotel.

The sunny afternoon and the friendly Baquerizo Morneo Pier city population will welcome to the travelers at their attractive and touristic destination.

So, visitors can explore the pier where is common to enjoy watching sea lions resting on the city park chairs and the adventurers can walk on the whole principle avenue of the pier visiting local entrepreneurs small shopping getting memories to their friends and family.

After the gourmet dinner the comfort or tourist class hotel will amaze to our guests making their rest a pleasant experience surrounded by the mist tropical forest of the volcanic highland.

DAY 2: Full Day Tour Española Island (snorkeling & walking) -speed boat

The day starts early in the morning at the Baquerizo Moreno Dock. Our Guests will be assisted by the bilingual naturalist guide on the whole full day tour activities. After a navigation of approximately 2.5 hours, boat will arrive at Española Island. This place is considered the crown jewel of the Galapagos archipelago. Española Island is located at the south side of the archipelago, 22 miles from San Cristobal Island. Here, our adventurers are going to be astonished by Punta Suarez and Gardner Isle. At Punta Suarez, which is located in the northeast of Española, excursionists are going to watch the nesting colonies of Nazca Boobies and famous blue-footed boobies, Galápagos Hawks, Española Mockingbirds, three species of Darwin´s finches, and Galápagos Doves. Swallow -tailed Gulls and Red-billed Tropicbirds dash in and out of the cracks in the cliffs. Between April and December, travelers can visit an interesting population of Waved Albatros, as Española is their nesting area.

There is also possible to watch sea lions and marine iguanas. Meanwhile, our guests may have the opportunity to enjoy the amazing landscape of the cliffs and the blow hole. Because this side of the island is a rocky terrain, travelers have to take care a lot so they shall wear comfortable shoes (no sandals). Later on, our adventurers will move on to Gardner Islet where the bay offers on of the best beaches to experience relaxing beach time in the Galápagos. Three species of Darwin´s finches and Española Mockingbirds may be seen at this site. Española Mockingbirds are fearless and frequently land on visitors´ heads and shoulders in search food. It is also possible to snorkel among playful sea lions, and being astonished by the colorful fishes of the bay. Travelers will refresh themselves while enjoying a delicious snack. Then, our adventurers will get the succulent lunch. After all, boat will journey back to San Cristobal.

It is recommended to wear wetsuit in order to neutralize the sea cold because it falls under 20ºC on September to December and it is up of 27ºC on January to August.

DAY 3: AM: Ferry (San Cristobal – Santa Cruz) – Charles Darwin Research Center Station – PM: Highland: Gian Tortoise – Lava Tunnels – Los Gemelos

AM: The morning starts with the trip by ferry from San Cristobal Island until the Muelle de Puerto Ayora (Puerto Ayora Pier). After the succulent lunch the adventurers will be taken to the Charles Darwin Research Center in order to know deeply the Galápagos Islands land and marine wildlife. At this scientific place passengers are going to be able to know a lot about the numerous baby and adult Galápagos Giant Tortoises that are currently being raised in captivity, so visitors can observe a variety of tortoises, including hatchlings, juveniles, and full-grow individuals.

Guests will also learn about land iguana’s life, see several kinds of birds including Darwin´s flinches, watch endemic flowers and plants. And, it is possible to visit the George Tortoise museum in order to overserve and learn about the life of the last giant turtle specimen.

PM: The tastiest lunch will help excursionists in order to enjoy a teeming wildlife journey in the highland of Puerto Ayora, so they will wonder visiting a ranch where it is possible a healthy short trail surrounded by the endemic tropical forest and they can observe closely exotic giant turtles on natural state, also our guests will take a trip under the lava tunnels always assisted by our experimented tour guide. The next spot is Los Gemelos – or “The Twins” in English – which are often mistaken for volcanic craters, those are actually sinkholes. When the volcanoes on the islands were still active, lava flows would roll down the hills to get to the sea. So, the lava run at different speeds under the ground for several days becoming big lava tunnels and magma chambers. The outer lava cools faster than the middle and starts to dry, allowing for the formation of lava walls that enclose the hotter lava within. These geological formations remain underground for thousands of years until their roofs collapse due to erosion, which is the case with Los Gemelos. At the end of this peculiar trip our guest will return to the coziest and environmentally

friendly hotel.

At night, our guests are going to enjoy a delicious dinner and take rest in most comfortable rooms. So, the natural experience is going to be a luxury privilege at the Twin Lodge Galapagos which is surrounded endemic Galapagos´ plants and trees away from the pollution.

DAY 4: Full Day Tour Isabela OR Floreana Island –snorkeling & walking– (subject to availability)

The departure is going to be at 6H30 am from the Puerto Ayora Pier, our guests´ tour experience is going to be amazing wondering marine and land wildlife in Isabela Island which is the largest island of the Archipelagos. First able, passengers will spot the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center where the naturalist will explain and show closely five different species of tortoises from the different volcanoes on Isabela, it is also possible to see different kind of tropical birds. Then, Flamingo lagoon will be visit where all the visitors have chance to see hundreds of sea lions, obviously the pinks flamingos. In order to finish the tour, Las Tintoreras is the last spot, which is the paradise of the tipped reef sharks and it is a small bay where the Galápagos penguins like to frequent, also it is possible to observe playful lava heron and gull birds. This place is magic in order to snorkeling, so the adventurers have to be quick to get a glimpse of the penguins underwater. The biggest island journey offers the opportunity to

watch closely several species of finch. The hot lunch will be enjoyed at the town’s restaurants.

Another option is to departure very early in the morning, at 7:30 am, after the fresh delicious breakfast to the Floreana Island which is very

famous because the small group of families have preserved Patrick Watkins and baroness´ stories, so these two stories have become part of their culture. Both, people´s stories and island´s wildlife are going to make a magic visit time in Floreana island. The trip consists to visit the pirate caves created by pirates seeking water and shelter, the giant tortoises and Larga de Aki. A beautiful lookout over the island and the bay permit to wonder red-billed tropicbirds nesting in the crevices. Snorkeling on the black beach is possible to swim next to the sea lions, also with many green marine turtles and possibly next the cute Galápagos penguins. Devil´s Crown crater which has been eroded away by the waves is haven for seabirds such as boobies, pelicans, and frigatebirds. Red-billed Tropicbirds nest in the crevices. Birdwatch travelers will be wondering learning

Campion and Gardner-by-Floreana, the last refuges for the Floreana Mockingbird, are two small, pristine islets. Hot lunch will be provided on the island´s restaurant or aboard.

DAY 5: Yacht Excursion North Seymour Island

The journey starts with 40 minutes ride by bus from the hotel until the Itabaca Chanel. Then, a comfortable yacht is going to pick up until North Seymour Island, where the adventurers will be wondering with the unique wildlife flora and fauna on natural state. The tour consists

approximately two- and half-hour trail where guests can shoot the best pictures. It is common to observe the largest colony of magnificent frigatebirds, swallow tailed gull, blue-footed boobies, and land iguanas, as well as sea lions and marine iguanas along the coast. The trip will take to travelers to be amazed in Mosquera, this small, flat, and sandy islet offers to the adventurers the perfect lion behavior. It is also possible to observe lava gulls, coastal birds, and Sally lightfoot crabs. While enjoy the hot lunch in the deeply cabins of the yacht, passengers will be taking to the Bachas Beach. The beach is paradisiacal place to take relaxing walk, swim and enjoy the sun. Snorkeling time will wonder with colorful reef fish, various rays, white tip reef sharks, and green turtles. The trip takes until the Chanel, then a bus transport back to the hotel.

DAY 6: “The Twins” (Los Gemelos) Excursion - Transfer out (hotel – Baltra Airport)

Often mistaken for volcanic craters, Los Gemelos – or “The Twins” in English – are actually sinkholes. After this amazing excursion, our guests are going to keep with their transfer out until the Airport by private transportation. Our adventurers will be assisted whole the time until the check in-point at Baltra Airport where hotel stay island hopping tour ends.
